Hello!
My name is Sarah and I am the owner of Birch Grove Botanicals. My last name is "Bjorklund" which translates to 'Birch Grove' in Swedish and that's what inspired the name of this business. Birch trees are one of the first trees to bud in early spring after the long, dark winter months, symbolizing new beginnings, hope, and rebirth. Birch trees are sacred in cultures across the world. 

Reclaiming my ancestral roots is very important to me and as a member of the salish indigenous S'klallam tribe it feels like my life mission to reconnect with the land, learn the old ways of medicine making and strengthen the bridge between society and the natural world.
